Barbara Primrose is the director responsible for marketing and design.
In 1975, she worked in “organisation & methods” as a trainee analyst and went on to Management Information Systems until 1982, when she became responsible for specification & procurement of computer software for resale. This included responsibility for training and support of the dealer network plus the preparation of marketing/sales materials.

In 1884, Barbara became responsible for European Marketing & Support of a renowned USA-based software product and, in 1987, was appointed UK General Manager of a European-based software company. Both these companies were pretty mean with their marketing budgets (to be fair, they were both start-up operations) so Barbara doesn’t know how to spend a huge marketing budget!

In 1990, Barbara began offering graphic design, writing and marketing services to a small number of contacts and the business began. In 1995, Internet technology was becoming important and web site design was added to our portfolio, currently making up more than sixty per cent of the BPc’s business.

Brian Primrose is the director responsible for a separate arm of the BPc, offering various other business services, including management and systems consultancy to larger companies. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1974, with two of the City’s major financial institutions and two European banks, specialising in technology services since 1985 and in management consultancy since 1994.

Chris has worked with the BPc’s directors since 1988. He specialises in technology and design. The other current members of the team are: Emma (graphic and web site design), Lynne (copy writing) and Margaret (marketing/journalism).
